Jay-Z Makes Another Big Move With The NFL
Some people may be unhappy about Jay-Z being in charge of the Super Bowl halftime show but not NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
On Tuesday, at the annual NFL owners meeting in Atlanta, Goodell said Jay will keep producing the game's halftime show after their five-year contract expires.
Jay signed a $25 million deal with the NFL in 2019, but there's no word on how much he'll make in this new deal.
"It’s been a mutually positive relationship,"said Goodell about the Brooklyn rapper and Desiree Perez, Roc Nation's CEO. "I’m not sure either one of us really spend much time talking about contracts. Jay is happy. Desiree Perez is happy. I’m happy, so we’re all good."
News of the extended partnership comes on the heels of Jay picking Kendrick Lamar to play the Super Bowl.
